Time to vote
I absolutely hate the idea of a mega high school, but I want to know — is this a decision the board makes? Or will it go to a vote of the people?
Editor’s note: Because it requires bonding authority it will go to a public vote.
It’s no wonder people complain so much about the Missouri Department of Transportation Now the Interstate 229 bridge is closed again. I thought this was already done this year?
Anti-wind turbine people say, “We don’t like wind turbines because of what we have been told and what anti-windmill people have said.” This is overriding the property rights of every farmer who wants a wind turbine. This is greed and stupidity mixed together, taking away millions from the county and the landowners.
More on the school district wanting to do away with the schools and have a mega school: Some of the administrators need to come out of their offices and go to the schools and hear how some of the students speak to teachers, principals and the custodians. The language, the actions are awful. Administrators need to be a little concerned about that. The building isn’t what’s making those kids do that.
Republicans are still in deep denial. The president they elected is corrupt and can’t tell the truth. Anybody with plain old common sense can see through the Republican senators and congressmen when they get in front of a camera and lie. To not believe the career ambassadors and others who testified in the public hearings is shameful and disturbing. Taxpayer money is well spent investigating this corrupt administration.
I was just wondering if all those free benefits that are being advertised for Medicare would include a set of batteries that I wore out, changing channels every time Joe Namath came on.
Stab in the back
My opinion is you can’t trust President Donald Trump. It now appears that he’s running away or backing away as fast as you can from his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, saying he didn’t know what he was doing over there. So I wouldn’t want to be anybody that was depending on Trump to have his back.
