I’d just like to ask all you liberal haters out there, who are you going to hate 10 years from now? You might as well go ahead and think something up, because I know your hate won’t change. Hate is all you live for; hate is all you understand; hate is all you love. Well, I got news for you — hate is a sin. Think about that, when you call yourself a Christian.
I am addressing my fellow senior citizens. Would you have believed it if you were told 20 years ago that you would be living in a country where nearly all the television news networks would censor everything positive about one certain political party? Isn’t that like communism? They censor television, newspapers and they shout us down. What’s next? Must we drop leaflets from the sky to get the truth out?
Here we go again. Somebody new comes to town and it makes articles in the newspaper. According to the front page, the House on the Hill is the most haunted in the city, if not the country. That’s very interesting. Until two years ago, it was never considered haunted.
Why ask why
If the enrollment has been dropping for a few years now, I have three why’s I wish the school district would answer: Why hire a new superintendent and pay him more than we’ve ever paid any of the other superintendents? Why hire him four assistants? And why do we keep hiring more administration?
Editor’s note: There are two, not four assistant superintendents. The St. Joseph Board of Education created a new administrative position this year by adding additional responsibilities to an existing employee’s plate. There was an increase in pay, but the net gain in new administrative positions was zero.
Trump minus crazy
I agree with the person who said why not get rid of President Donald Trump and bring in Vice President Mike Pence. I can’t understand why Republicans cling to Trump so desperately, when Pence would be better for them and not put them through all the crazy stuff that Trump does.
I find it strange that white people on the left have denounced their own race, talking about white privilege and so on, hoping that by appeasing people of color statues will be made of these great, white activists to be honored for centuries. I hate to burst their bubble, but as far as I know, African Americans don’t have a holiday to honor John Brown or the attack on Harper’s Ferry, if you catch my drift.
