Can’t handle it
Under growing pressure from the Democrats, Facebook has decided to try to stop the anti-Democrat hackers. Well, if I remember right, the hackers exposed the truth. Maybe that’s what the Democrats are trying to stop.
I’ll be so glad when the next election for City Council comes around. I can’t wait to vote against these fools up there. There’s only one or two conservatives on the whole City Council. The rest of them try to make it as hard as possible for the common person to comment at their stupid little meetings. So I am in a hurry to get to vote against them. I don’t know what is going on up there, just like Washington, D.C.
I definitely want to thank the city for building that food kitchen down there. We got a kitchen down there that we built to give free food away and then we’re gouging everybody else in St. Joe to pay the sewer bills.
A question on unmarked vehicles taken home by city and county employees — are any of these allowed to be used for private purposes? If so, what is the charge on that?
Pay for school
Our tax system is all screwed up. Me and my neighbor, our properties are the same amount. Me and my wife are over 75 years old, never raised any children, but yet we have to pay just as much tax as our neighbor who has five children. The school tax system should be based on how many children you have in school. That would be more fair.
Trump’s capitalism has the economy booming, and people are going back to work. The Democrats, on the other hand, want to take us to some weird socialist nirvana, where there is a chicken in every pot. The problem is that everybody’s chicken is the size of a sparrow, and the pot would be owned by the government.
I’d like to respond to all the people complaining that President Donald Trump blames everyone else. Blaming other people is a longtime political tradition. If you remember, former President Barack Obama blamed former President George W. Bush for everything for about seven and a half years. And speaking of blame, if we didn’t have such a generous welfare system and open borders, we wouldn’t have all these problems with children and families in not too good conditions, to say the least.
A fireworks law is not a worthless law. Although it is almost impossible to enforce on a day-to-day basis, if someone should be seriously hurt or property damage done because of someone illegally shooting off fireworks, then the city has a law to charge them with. Some laws are good even if they can’t be enforced.
