Do people realize if a Democrat gets to be president, Hillary Clinton could be vice president? Think about it. It’s a horrifying thought.
Here we go again, the amnesiacs are running rampant in the street, this time decrying the new route to tackle green card restrictions. I have news for these people — this country used to require people had skill, people could contribute to this country. And somewhere along the line, that got erased. I think it’s a good move. And they can file lawsuits and they can cry and wring their hands and protest in the streets, but it’s a good rule.
Earned the right
I am not a flag hugger or a tree hugger. I am a patriotic American who served in the Army. And I don’t like people who would tell me I’m not a “true” American. If I don’t agree with President Donald Trump and his supporters, I earned the right to disagree.
Open your eyes
I see the radical Democrats running for president want to restructure the Supreme Court. Yeah, I can just see how well that will go over. I hope to God everybody’s smart enough not to vote for them.
Hard, after all
It seems the president is telling us that trade wars aren’t that easy to win.
I can’t believe this still has to be said, but seeking asylum is not illegal. The people who come to the border and who are then separated at checkpoints from their families and put into (custody) are not here illegally. They are here seeking asylum. The people who have been arrested in all of these ICE raids also are not here illegally. The majority of them are waiting for their asylum hearings. Those things take time —months, sometimes years — because the government doesn’t move very fast. That doesn’t make them illegal; it makes them unfortunate.
Paying a price
Trump promised to improve what he called our “third-world infrastructure.” He lied. He promised we’d all have better and cheaper health care than Obamacare. He lied. And now he lies every time he says we aren’t paying for his harmful tariffs.
Phone it in
I went to a food pantry to get free food. I don’t have a smartphone, but three-fourths of the people there did have smartphones. Yet they’re getting free food. How can they afford smartphones if they can’t afford food?
