Haven for rats and birds
I read in the paper about the dangerous buildings that are going to be demolished and just wondered about a structure at Main and Michel streets on the southwest corner, or the one at the northeast corner of Michel and Dewey streets. They both have been like that for almost 20 years, if not longer. All they are is a haven for rats and bird droppings.
I am wondering about Bernie Sanders; he never really acknowledged that Hillary won. I think he is jealous of her. The night before the Democratic committee meeting, he accused her of being favored by the Democratic people. Then he gave his speech all about him, and then, only then, did he tell his followers to vote for Hillary. He sat up front every night scowling, never smiling. Now his people are saying they are no longer Democrats, they are independents. I bet he will say he’s also Independent and run for president. So, I am wondering, does he really want the Republican party to win?
Just so you know ...
I wonder how many people are aware that the Democratic platform this year, for the first time, is calling for a repeal of the Hyde Amendment. That is the amendment that for decades has barred federal funding for abortion services, particularly Medicaid. So, the Democrats want full taxpayer funding of abortions, unlimited.
Really? You had to steal my fountain from my front yard? I only had $10 on it. If friends and neighbors or family see a fountain with a pretty lady on top, it’s mine. It is not very big, but it is very heavy. How can you enjoy looking at it, knowing you stole it? Guess you need my prayers.
Can she handle it?
At the Democratic Convention, I was pleased to hear of all of Hillary’s work with women and children in the past, so many people from all backgrounds she has helped over the years. I do have a great concern for all of her scandals she has had in her history over the past 40 years. I have been concerned since 9/11. I do feel Hillary let our soldiers down over the Benghazi attack. My question is, can she handle ISIS and the national threat they proclaimed?
