Why waste our time and money?

I'm just wondering, we voted down twice, two times, going to a two high school system. We voted it down twice, but the school board decided, well, they're going to go on with it anyway. Why waste our time and our tax dollars on voting for something that the school board's not even paying attention to?

Could we get in?

I've walked at the central track for the last 30 years on my days off. And now that I retired this year, I've been walking there every day. In fact, I was there the day they came in February to close the track and start resurfacing it. One of the workers said it would be open again in August. And several of us have went there. It's still padlocked, even though the kids are playing on the field, and they're having ball games there. We just wondered if there's some way they could unlock the gate so we could get in and walk on the track.

Can't see the difference

Can somebody explain the difference to me between Democrats, leftists, and communists? Because to me they're all the same.
