Be considerate
I live in North End around the park area and people in the neighborhood celebrate the 4th before and well past the curfew hour of 10 p.m. Some of us have to work and I really would like to get some sleep. Please be considerate.
Why raise the rates?
If Optimum is saving a bunch of money by dropping Bally Sports, why did they need to raise my rates so much this month also?
Can’t justify it
How do you justify spending $8 million at Lake Contrary when most of the beachfront is privately owned? The greatest benefactor of dredging that lake will be the property owners. I don’t want to increase my taxes or pay more so that their property increases in value. Eminent domain is the only way you can justify spending that money.
Not a hoax
All this extreme weather, millions still under heat warnings, it’s climate change. We were warned about this. Trump says it’s a hoax. He will do absolutely nothing about climate change.
It could be worse
Interesting that people are freaking out about the mortgage rates, which are 6.960%. People should note that late in Ronald Reagan’s first term in March of ‘85, rates were at 13%, almost twice what they are now. They had been as high as 18.63% in October of 1981.
Figured it out
I guess you figured out the only reason Mark Warner of Virginia is saying anything about Biden’s cognitive decline is because Virginia is in play. Don’t worry, they’re going to lose Virginia. All you’ve got to do is listen to these fine gentlemen and fine ladies.
