After winning all three matches last week, Northwest Missouri State moved up to No. 20 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association's Division II rankings.
The Bearcats are now 15-0 on the season and moved up from No. 22 in the poll last week. The start is now tied for the second best in school history, tying the 1984 mark. The school record is 23-straight, set in 1980.
Northwest will have a pair of road games this week, facing Pittsburg State on Friday in Pittsburg, Kansas. On Saturday, the Bearcats play in Edmond, Oklahoma, against No. 12-ranked Central Oklahoma.
There are a total of five MIAA teams ranked. Nebraska-Kearney is No. 3, followed by Central Missouri at No. 6, while Washburn is No. 18.
