Chelsea Dewey had a pretty good week.

First she led Missouri Western past Central Oklahoma on Saturday, then on Monday earned MIAA co-player of the week honors.

Dewey led Missouri Western to an upset win at the previously unbeaten and No. 19-ranked Bronchos.

The senior guard scored a team-high 17 points and dished out a team-high six assists in the win. The 5-foot, 8-inch senior guard is a native of Gower, Missouri, where she competed at East Buchanan High School.

Dewey shares the award with Emporia State guard Kelly Moten.
