Usually, fans at Phil Welch Stadium make their way to the concession stand or sing along with "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch but Friday night the 4,000-plus crowd stood in near silence looking out on the field.

Even manager Matt Johnson was watching the little girl with the microphone in front of the Mustangs dugout singing the traditional seventh-inning stretch song.

The Mustangs manager was watching a little closer than most, though, considering it was his five-year old daughter, Brynlee, singing. Without appearing to be bothered by the large crowd staring at her, Brynlee made a special memory for her dad.

"That was awesome," Johnson said. "It brought a tear to my eye seeing her out there by herself. I'm one proud papa."

Johnson joined the crowd in a loud round of applause at the end as his daughter ran off the field.
