Daniel Thompson, 55, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019. He was born Sept. 13, 1963, in St. Joseph.
He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed traveling the world and always strived to be the best at anything he did. Dan graduated from Union Star High School in 1981. Dan was employed at Peachtree Door until 1991. After that he was employed at Lawhon Construction and a member of the Carpenters Union Local 110 for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Loretta (Hickok) Thompson; and his grandparents.
Survivors include: father and step-mother, Ronald Lee, Sr. and Jo Thompson, Avenue City; sister, Pamela Regan, Joplin, Missouri; brother, Ronald Lee Thompson, Jr. (Robin), Liberty, Missouri; step-sister, Vee Simpson (Tyler), Cuba, Missouri; step-brother, Ray Smith (Amy), Rushville, Missouri; one niece; and five nephews; numerous aunts and extended family; his special friend, Shelly Carrel.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
