BETHANY, Mo. -Joanne Snead, 85, Bethany, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1934, in Coffey, Missouri, the daughter of Guy Young and Willa Mae (Pugh) Foster.

On July 10, 1954, she married Kenneth Snead, in Martinsville, Missouri.

He preceded her in death, on April 21, 2008, after 53 years of marriage.

She was also preceded in death by: her parents; an infant sister; brother; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charley and Wilma (Baker) Snead; two sons-in-law, Mike Breer and Ellison Preston; nephew, Dale Foster; and sisters-in-law, and their spouses, Barbara Foster, Jim Vaughn, Worth and Leah Vandivert, and Marlin and Eleanor Meredith.

Joanne is survived by: her two daughters, Peggy Breer and Betty Preston; eight grandkids; 24 great-grandkids; and three great-great-grandkids, with one on the way; two brothers, Darrell Foster, of Venice, Florida, and Byron Foster, of Primghar, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Justine Vaughn and Elaine (Lavern) Meinecke; lots of nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Princess.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.

There are no scheduled services.

Cremation will follow, visitation and inurnment will be held at a later date, in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Martinsville.
