ELMO, Mo. - Jimmey T. Meek, 57, passed away Nov. 22, 2019, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph.

Jimmey was born Oct. 23, 1962, in Shenandoah, Iowa. He was the son of the late James Donald Meek and Joyce (Meyer) Meek.

He was employed by Nodaway Nursing Home, as maintenance supervisor for 17 years, before retirement.

Jimmey was a member of the Elmo Community Betterment

Jimmey was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Jay Meek: and granddaughter, Dakota Hoyt.

Surviving are: sons: Jacob (Tanya) Jones, Braddyville, Iowa, and Jesse Jones, Indianola, Iowa; daughters: Toni (Kurt) Wildasin, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Kaley (Buzzy) Foster, Clarinda, Iowa; sisters: Connie (Jim) Cole, New Market, Iowa, Kathy (Kenneth) Armstrong, of Burlington Junction, Missouri, and Terry Davidson, Elmo; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Meek has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home.

A memorial lunch will be held at noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at the Burlington Junction American Legion Post, and a memorial celebration at 6 p.m., at the 136 Roadhouse Bar and Grill, Burlington Junction.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Elmo Community Betterment.
