Henggeler, Cletus J.  1932-2019

STANBERRY, Mo. - Cletus J. Henggeler, 87, of Stanberry, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at the Mosaic Medical Center, in Maryville, Missouri.

Cletus was born on March 18, 1932, near Clyde, Missouri, to Joseph C. and Mary C. (Runde) Henggeler.

He was a graduate of the Jefferson High School and served in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, and was a farmer in the Clyde and Conception area for 62 years.

He married Lovie Joy Shughart, on July 4, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the St. Augusta Catholic Church.

She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: their children: Mary, Catherine, Joseph, Daniel, Karl and Henry; one sister, Bernita Behm; and 11 grandchildren.

Cletus was preceded in death by: his parents; and five siblings: Francis, Eugene, Vincent, Maurus and Mercedes.

Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2019, at St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, Missouri, under the care of Price Funeral Home.

Burial will follow, at the St. Columba Cemetery, in Conception, Missouri.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to: American Cancer Society, VFW Conception Jct. or the MFA Scholarship.
