DEARBORN, Mo. - Darline Hanway, 87, of Dearborn, passed away, Monday, Aug. 12, 2019.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1931, to Emil Otto and Elsie Sabina (Fuelgraff) Schultz, in St. Joseph.
Darline grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Lafayette High School.
On Sept. 1, 1956, she was united in marriage to P. Paul Hanway.
After their marriage, they farmed near Faucett, Missouri where they made their home.
Her husband, Paul, passed away, Aug. 1, 2011.
Darline was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, in St. Joseph.
She was also preceded in death by: her parents; and her brother, Norman Schultz.
Darline is survived by: her children: Paula Gunn (Robert), Buckner, Missouri, Rickey Hanway and fiance; Jackie, Faucett, and Nancy Audsley (Mike), Kansas City, Missouri; grandson, Zachary Audsley; sisters-in-law, Wilhelmina Hoffelmeyer, Josephine Jackson and Imogene Richey; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Mass of Christian burial: 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Easton, Missouri.
Rosary: 6 p.m. Thursday, with visitation following until 8 p.m., at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, Missouri.
Burial: 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Leavenworth, Kansas. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
