MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Lorraine (Davisson) Forsee, of Millington, passed away suddenly, on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019; she was 66 years of age.
Lori was born and raised in St Joseph, to a single working mother.
Lori, and her husband, sensed a call from God to serve in church ministry, with Assemblies of God churches, while raising two sons. They also served in Christian school leadership, in various states.
Lori had a passion for genealogical research even before the internet was available, as she sought details about her family. She also authored a few genealogy reports for her husband's family, extended family and friends.
She is survived by: her husband of 43 years, Rev Gary Forsee, of Millington; her two sons, Philip Forsee and wife, Heather, of Ozark Missouri, and Ben Forsee, of Easton, Pennsylvania; her much loved granddaughter, Collins Forsee; her brother, Gary Heater and wife, Stephanie, of St. Joseph; her extended family: Sharon Jones and husband, Chester, of Oxford, Alabama, and Sandra Lanning and husband, Bill, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her brothers, Gary Stutzman, of Portland, Oregon, and Greg Stutzman, of Minneapolis; nieces and nephews; in-laws; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Virginia Davisson; her maternal uncle, James Heater; a second family, Stanley and Agnes Milbourn; a brother, Stanley Milbourn Jr.; and a sister, Peggy Norris.
Celebration of life service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, Covington Funeral Home, 3499 Highway 51 South, in Covington, Tennessee.
