UNION STAR, Mo. - Larry Dean Bittiker Jr., 63, passed away on Oct. 9, 2019, at his home, in rural Union Star.
Larry was born in St. Joseph, to Larry D. and Orville R. (Ashworth) Bittiker, on July 3, 1956. He was the oldest of seven children, with five sisters and a brother.
Larry went to high school at Central High School, graduating in 1974.
He worked as a master carpenter for a lot of his life, with his dad and uncle. Larry also drove truck with his stepfather and travelled to many places, and always shared his experiences on the road with such joy.
For a time, he lived in Colorado and Las Vegas, but because of his great love for his family and friends, Larry moved back home where he spent the last 11 years of his life.
Larry is survived by: his sisters, Roxanne (Rob) Russell, South Carolina, Cindy (Mark) Wilkerson, Maysville, Sharon (Russell) Bone, South Carolina, and Crickett Hill, St. Joseph; brothers, John Bittiker, St. Joseph, and Chris (Crystal) Bittiker, Oregon.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one beloved sister, Felicia Richey; as well as a host of friends, whom he also loved dearly.
Celebration of life: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at Oak Christian Church, Oak, Missouri, with Rev. Jonathan Garlock officiating.
Inurnment: to follow at Clarksdale Cemetery, Clarksdale, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.
