Timothy Bryan Johnson Sr., 84, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at his home. Timothy was born June 25, 1941, in Wathena, Kansas, son of Gladys and Leonard Johnson.

He graduated from Wathena High School. On Jan. 6, 1997, he married Tamara Guilliams in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Timothy was a Master Crain Operator, working at Rockwell International, in Atchison, Kansas, and Rinker Material, in New Mexico, retiring with over 30 years of work. He enjoyed old cars and going to car shows, he was a Jazz Music enthusiast and loved spending time with his family.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ebony Nicole Johnson; brothers, Gilbert, Leonard and Joseph Johnson; sisters, Ernestine Thornton, Olive McNeal and Jean Robinson.

Survivors include wife, Tamara Johnson, of the home; children, Vanessa (Dequince) Atkinson, of Kansas City, Missouri, Patricia (Donna) Johnson, of Omaha, Nebraska, Timothy (Izetta) Johnson Jr., of St Joseph, and Faith Mabion, of St. Joseph; sister, Doris Massey, of St. Joseph; and his special sister-in-law, Pat Stillman, of St. Joseph; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. Following services, Mr. Johnson will be cremated.
