Branham, Charles E. 1935-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Charles Edward Branham, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at his home. He was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Springfield, Colorado, son of the late Esther and Sam Branham.

He graduated from the Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a Bachelors degree in Soil Science. He worked for the U.S. Federal Government as a Soil Scientist.

Charles enjoyed watching sports, KC Chiefs, and Denver Broncos, and going to his church.

Charles was preceded in death by wife, Sheila Branham; mother, Esther Branham; father, Sam Branham; brother, Lloyd Branham; brother, Bert Branham; sister, Sammie Williams; sister, Vira Forrest.

Survivors include daughter, Megan (Norman) Talbott, of St. Joseph; son, Shane (Barb) Branham, of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Garner Township Cemetery.
