Four sheep are still alive on a farm near Rosendale after an allegedly mutilated sheep and three other dead animals were found on and near the property yesterday.
According to Gary Silverglat, the owner of animal rescue M’Shoogy’s, Silverglat made contact with the owner of the farm and confirmed that the animals left alive are in better condition. Silverglat said they’re now fenced in a shaded area, and a veterinarian examined the animals.
The status of any law enforcement activity is still unknown, though Silveglat said the animals found at the farm likely died of natural causes. He maintains that the sheep found in the ditch was mutilated.
