Two St. Joseph residents, one of them a teen boy, were killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle accident south of St. Joseph.

The 14-year-old boy, whose name was not released, and Alexander Brown, 19, were passengers in one car and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at about 6:10 a.m. on Route A south of Route O about four miles south of St. Joseph, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The driver of their car, Alexis Lewis, 20, of St. Joseph, received serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to KU Medical Center, the report said.
