This is an unused postcard from Mac’s Arcade at the Lake Contrary Amusement Park. This pre-World War I black-and-white postcard shows portions of the bandstand, casino and the promenade between the two. It could be mailed for a single wheat back or Indian head penny to anywhere in the United States. The street railway system ran a rail line for streetcars from the city to the lake because of the popularity of this site.
