A St. Joseph man has been charged with making a terrorist threat after allegedly saying he would commit a mass shooting at a local restaurant.

According to court documents, Jordan Millard called an employee the local Applebee’s Grill and Bar on Aug. 17 and threatened to “shoot everyone inside.” The 20-year-old man also allegedly threatened to cut the employee’s throat during the phone call, and said he would be there when the employee got off of work.

Millard has been charged with making a terrorist threat. Court documents say that the phone call led to an evacuation, quarantine or closure of the restaurant. Millard is being held at the Buchanan County Jail on a $5,000 bond and is to have no contact with anyone at Applebee’s.
