A inmate serving a life sentence is being charged for allegedly killing a fellow inmate.

According to a probable cause statement, Anthony Graves was being held at the Western Missouri Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri, when he allegedly beat Paul Ferguson to death. The attack is believed to have taken place between Aug. 17 and Sept. 7, 2018.

Graves is being charged with second-degree murder. He already is serving a life sentence for a murder in Boone County, Missouri.
