A charge has been filed in connection with a Sept. 23 fatal accident that occurred on Lovers Lane.
Jeremy Livingston, 42, St. Joseph, is charged with the Class C felony of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, according to court records.
Police said Livingston was driving a 1988 Ford Mustang on Lovers Lane shortly after 11 p.m. on Sept. 23, with the vehicle traveling at high speed. The car veered off the roadway to the right, struck a tree and streetlight and overturned onto its side.
A passenger in the vehicle, Danielle Grable, 36, was killed in the wreck. Prosecutors alleged that Livingston recklessly caused Grable’s death by operating the car while intoxicated and losing control of the vehicle while speeding.
Livingston’s arraignment is set for 8:30 a.m. today before Judge Keith Marquart. He remains in the Buchanan County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
