I love draught, except this time, I am not talking about beer. I am talking about kombucha. Mokaska Coffee in Downtown St. Joe offers the beverage on tap. They offer a brand made in Kansas City called Lucky Elixir Kombucha. They even have a chai kombucha this time of year. I wonder how hard it would be to get one of those kegs into my apartment ...?

Yoga with Adriene

I am loving the "Yoga with Adriene" YouTube channel lately. Her easy-to-follow, calming yoga routines help me squeeze in at least 10 minutes of stretching before I start my day. Yoga studios are great, but nothing beats free yoga in the comfort of your own home. Of all the channels I've tried, hers is my favorite. She breaks it down for all levels and I never feel intimidated.

I recently finished “Dr. Death,” a currently popular podcast about a Dallas neurosurgeon who was sentenced to life in prison after numerous botched surgeries. While not a cheery or fun listen by any means, it sheds light on a story that flew under the radar for far too long. And with my journalism background, I appreciated not only this telling of it but also the role watchdog journalism played in helping ensure this dangerous man didn’t stay in the operating room.
