Perspective is all in the eyes of the beholder. Jess Jackson’s positive outlook on life made her the perfect candidate for this issue’s cover girl.

“I love to live life with passion, remembering and honoring my dad by living his mantra ...’Life is good, if you let it be’,” Jackson says.

The St. Joseph woman works as an executive recruiter for Mosaic Life Care.

“I work across all lines of the organization hiring clinical and non-clinical leadership as well as hard-to-fill areas like accounting, finance and IT,” Jackson said. “With most candidates coming from out of town, or out of state, a big part of my job is to showcase the best of St. Joseph and what our community has to offer. And I absolutely love it.”

Jackson said her family is small but mighty and is a proud daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt.

“You can often find me having dance parties with my nephew or jetting off to Chicago to visit my brother,” she said. “When I’m not busy with family, you can find me ripping down the Parkway on my bicycle, vibing with the Pyro Tribe under the full moon, listening to Wayne and Diplo or eating Irish egg rolls at the Hi-Ho. I’m very passionate about helping others and currently serve as an active member of the Junior League of St. Joseph and the YWCA Board of Directors."
