Arrival day for the Kansas City Chiefs served as the unofficial start of training camp on Sunday at Missouri Western.

One by one the Chiefs rookies, quarterbacks and a few select veterans arrived in St. Joseph for the first day of a three-week-plus stay at Scanlon Hall. This marks the final year of a five-year guaranteed contract to keep training camp at Western, with a series of one-year options set for discussion later this year.

Chiefs to celebrate Red Thursday

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Red Friday will turn into Red Thursday this year in conjunction with the team's home opener on Thursday, Sept. 17, against Denver.
