Northwest Missouri State athletic director Wren Baker made another move up the professional ladder, and that leaves the Bearcats searching for a new leader.

The school announced Baker’s pending resignation Wednesday, allowing him to take a new job at the University of Memphis. Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski said a national search will ensue to find Baker’s replacement, and Lori Hopkins will serve as interim athletic director.
