A waste

Does the highway department still control the lights on the Belt Highway? What happened to the sensors they had that would sense there was no car sitting over there on the far lane? For 2½ minutes we were waiting for the lights to change when there’s nobody there. Isn’t that a waste of gas?

Go, Huma

Anthony Weiner, former congressman, said he was going to run for mayor of New York and he wanted the support of his wife, Huma. I think it’s the wrong spouse that is coming out for the running. She would make a fantastic mayor of New York. At least you can believe what she says. The trouble with Weiner is that he tells you one thing and does another. He kind of has the George Bush problem: He doesn’t know a lie from the truth.

Trim it up

I wonder if they’re going to cut the brush out of the ditch here at Bishop and Cook roads, to see the new beautiful school the St. Joseph School District is building. They’ve got the view blocked by all those terrible-looking trees in the ditch. Are they going to cut all of that out?

St. Joseph speedway

I would like to welcome everyone to the St. Joseph speedway. All you have to do is open your front door and you’re there. People do not pay any attention to speed limits in this town at all. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone pulled over. I know, I know, we need more officers. Well, I can tell you that maybe if the ones we had out there would not just sit at the Aquatic Park parking lot or the parking lot at 28th and Mitchell maybe there would be more tickets given out and maybe people would start slowing down. I, for one, am a “no” vote.

Starring role

Anthony Weiner has been caught in another sexting scandal. You know, people who do the sexting want to be porn stars. Mr. Weiner’s previous sexting scandal was with a porn star. So if he doesn’t make it as mayor of New York, then perhaps he can become a porn star himself. It would be perfect for him and he wouldn’t have to change his name.

A friend of mine posted this on Facebook yesterday:

    Q. What do you get when you cross a pig with a liberal?

    A. Nothing. There are some things that even a pig won't do.

Go Huma....she is facing her own troubles -- less salacious than her husband's, but potentially more severe.

Huma Abedin, the deputy chief of staff at the State Department under former Secretary Hillary Clinton, was granted status as a "special government employee" after the birth of her son. That title allowed her to work from home as a part-time consultant to State, earning $135,000 as a government employee -- while also earning $355,000 as a consultant for Teneo, where former President Bill Clinton is a board member.

Sources say Abedin's dual status raises serious questions. If this story pans out that Huma actually had access to inside information while serving as a government official but at the same time serving as a strategic consultant to a firm that actively trades in the stock market, this could be quite a problem.

Ahhh, the crooked world of politics. And with a Clinton close by no less. If you can lie to the one person closest to you in the whole wide world about your fidelity and monogamous actions, you WILL lie to anyone about anything.

    Split and Divide

President Obama was bound to receive a warm response from the audience attending his speech at the University of Central Missouri yesterday — because some students who disagreed with him weren’t allowed into the building.

Christopher White of The College Fix reports that students wearing “Tea Party T-Shirts and others who wore patriotic or Republican-inspired clothing” were turned away at the door under the guise of security concerns, despite the fact that they held tickets to the event.

Well, those students learned an important lesson. Wonder if they got it. Now the real question is did the other students "get it". Do they recognize that a regime like Obumer's lives on discrimination/diversion/ total control.

I notice the media doesn't cover things like that.

Anyone who is true to this nation will not like this kind of conduct from Obumer. We'll see whose on whose side.

A New York newspaper is in effect calling Courtney Scott and the other Mizzou Republicans liars, saying that no one with a ticket was excluded from the event as long as they were on time.

But we already know that the news media is in bed with Obummer, so why believe a lib reporter from New York over Courtney Scott, the state treasurer for the Young Republicans? She would have no reason to lie, knowing that a false story would easily unravel. And her story has been confirmed by Free Republic, World Net Daily, The Blaze, Drudge, Fox News Insider, and etc.

Sure.....I used to pick people apart for their spelling and grammar....until it was pointed it how imperfect my own was. So.....painful as it may have been.....I allowed myself to descend into commonness.....
