Gloria J. Bundridge


Gloria Jean Bundridge, 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012, in a St. Joseph health care center.

She was born December 8, 1946, in St. Joseph. She graduated from Benton High School Class of 1964 and she married Harley Bundridge on January 27, 1970. She worked at H.D. Lee, and then retired from Wonder Bread after 23 years of service. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, drinking her Pepsi but most especially spending time with her granddaughter, London. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Gloria was preceded in death by father, Nicholas Carrillo; mother, Virginia (Grooms) Johnson.

Survivors include husband, Harley Bundridge, of the home; her son, John Bundridge and wife, Ginger, of St. Joseph; granddaughter, London Bundridge; three brothers, Manuel Carrillo and wife, Marie, Bob Carrillo and wife, Lois, all of St. Joseph, Nicholas Carrillo and wife, Tammy, of Duluth, Ga.; two sisters, Judy Pearson and husband, Greg, of Key Largo, Fla. and Brenda Frizell, and husband, Tom of St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Rupp Funeral Home, with Father Evan Harkins officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials are requested to the American Alzheimer's Assn.
