A St. Joseph man is facing federal charges for leading officers in Taney County, Missouri, on a chase and possessing roughly 6 pounds of methamphetamine.
Andrew R. Trammell, 45, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Springfield, Missouri, on Tuesday.
According to court documents, a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy tried to stop Trammell.
The vehicle failed to stop, and the deputy chased it. Trammell then crashed the vehicle when he entered Branson, Missouri. Officers there apprehended him.
Officers searched the vehicle on the scene and found a box on the floorboard that contained 6 pounds of methamphetamine and a large quantity of cash.
