First responders arrive at Triumphs Foods following a call of a person injured with their hand trapped in a machine. Eye-witness reports indicate that one person was transported via EMS to receive further medical attention.

One person was injured at Triumph Foods on Thursday evening after getting their hand stuck in a machine.

Around 6:40 p.m., a call came in of a person in need of medical attention due to several fingers being caught in one of the machines used in the plant. Buchanan County EMS, the St. Joseph Fire Department and St. Joseph Police Department responded to the scene and one person was transported via ambulance.

Triumph had not responded to requests for comment from News-Press Now as of late Thursday.
