CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — More than two years of pain came to a climax for a rural Caldwell County family as they watched their relative be sentenced to life in prison.

Unrepentant and stoic, Robert C. Hobbs, 51, remained calm as Judge Thomas Chapman told him he will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing his father on February 19, 2010.

Is a link to the original article too much to ask? This was pretty vague.

The story has been updated with more information. The previous one was lost when we had our website upgrade.

    still pretty vague:
    what was the probation violation?
why did he murder his father?
was he living with his father?
    etc.?
