Kevin N. Rawlings, the former president of the Northland Regional Ambulance District in Platte County, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of misusing official information.

Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd said Mr. Rawlings admitted to purchasing a parcel of land where he knew a new station would be built. He bought it for $130,000 and later sold it to the ambulance district for $175,000.
