When legislators return to Jefferson City this week for the 97th General Assembly, the House member who carried the omnibus agriculture bill last session will not be with them.

Glen Klippenstein, the Republican from Maysville, bowed out after redistricting put him in a difficult geographical and political position.

Great story and a great man. he truly deserves this write up telling the short story of what has made America great. I met him once and you would never know that he had a dime in his pocket. He is as common as an old shoe. He is one of the great few that has his neighbor, his state and his country in mind. My best to you Mr. Klippenstein.
You've done your job and you have done it well.

Glen Klippenstein and his family have been been a great support to me for many years and a very positive influence. Glen is the the kind of guy to "take the bull by the horns", no pun intended. I have known he and his familyfor the past 35 years and over that time he has consistently been a man of honesty, integrity, and passion. I am proud to know Glen and his family and call them friends. Well done, GK!
