Man dies when tractor flips

EVEREST, Kan. - An Everest man died Tuesday evening after being thrown off a tractor.
Christopher Wehking, 46, was killed while operating a tractor at 8375 308th Road, said John Calhoon, Atchison County, Kan., sheriff. Mr. Wehking was piling dirt and other debris when the machine flipped onto its side and threw him off the vehicle, the sheriff said.
Emergency crews were at the scene for more than three hours.
