COUNTRY CLUB VILLAGE, Mo. - Village police arrested four individuals following a car chase in Andrew County. Law enforcement officers arrested Caci Clizer, 20, Mykel Clark, 19, Adrian Taylor, 21 and Keyon Wilkinson, 17. Miss Clark, Mr. Taylor and Mr. Wilkinson are from St. Joseph.

The four were each charged with felony possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, said Richard Scott, Village police chief.

The arrest started at 6:30 p.m. Thursday when officers attempted an arrest in a cul-de-sac off Miller Road, the police chief said.

A pursuit ended about five miles away on State Route K, about a half mile north of the county line near P.J.'s Fireworks. Officers recovered a significant quantity of what they believe to be crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and marijuana. The Andrew County Sheriff's Department also assisted.

Officers arrested two females following a brief foot chase, he said. The two males eluded officers.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol made an arrest at County Road 379 and Hilltop Road a short time later, Mr. Scott said.

Associate Circuit Court Judge Mike Ordnung set bail for Miss Clark and Mr. Wilkinson at $75,000 each; Mr. Taylor's bond is $100,000 and Miss Clizer, the alleged driver from Rosendale, Mo., had her bond set at $150,000.

The four are being detained at various jails in the region, Mr. Scott said. The investigation is ongoing and additional misdemeanor and felony charges could be filed.
