Martin, husband welcome baby girl
LOS ANGELES | Ricky Martin is starting the new year with a new bundle of joy.
The Grammy-nominated singer announced the arrival of his daughter with an Instagram post showing off the infant’s tiny hands. Martin said the girl is named Lucia.
Martin’s post didn’t include any additional details, other than that the baby girl is healthy. Martin’s post said his family, which includes husband Jwan Yosef and 10-year-old twin sons, have “fallen in love with Lucia.”
130th Rose Parade boasts singer Khan
PASADENA, Calif. | Floral floats and marching bands took to the streets as the 130th Rose Parade drew hundreds of thousands of spectators on New Year’s Day.
The annual event in Pasadena kicked off with a performance by singer Chaka Khan, the grand marshal of the parade, and featured 40 floats decorated with countless flowers and waving celebrities. The theme was “The Melody of Life.”
